Read-only access, approved once by your admin in the SharePoint admin centre:
- User.ReadBasic.All (delegated) to look up colleagues’ names, photos and job titles
It runs as the signed-in person, so it can only see what they can already see.
Where your data goes
Shoutouts are stored in a SharePoint list inside your own Microsoft 365 tenant and never sent to us.
To check your licence, the web part sends your tenant ID to our licensing service, hosted in Microsoft Azure UK South. No user content or personal data is included.
How it’s deployed
A standard SPFx package, uploaded by your admin to your own tenant app catalogue. It runs inside SharePoint like any Microsoft web part, and you can remove it at any time.

What’s included in the price?
A licence for your whole tenant, updates, fixes for SharePoint and Graph API changes, and email support during UK business hours. There is no setup fee.
Who can give a shoutout?
Anyone who can see the page. They pick a colleague from your directory, choose a type and write a short message.
Can we approve shoutouts before they appear?
Yes. Turn on moderation and new shoutouts wait for approval before they go live.
Is it in a bundle?
Yes, People Shoutout is included in the Complete Bundle with all 18 web parts. It isn’t part of the Starter Bundle.
Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?
Yes. Email us with your organisation’s details and size and we’ll send a quote and invoice.
How is it installed?
Your SharePoint admin uploads the package to the tenant app catalogue using our guide - it takes a few minutes. If you’d like us to do it, ask about our managed install before you buy.
