Pinned answers live in an ordinary SharePoint list
Each entry has keywords, a description, a link and button text, an on/off switch and a publish window, so content owners manage them directly. No admin centre, no redeployment, no developer. A script to create the list is included.

Security and permissions
Everything your admin needs to approve the install.
Permissions requested
Read-only Microsoft Graph delegated permissions, approved once by your admin, covering files, sites, mail, calendar and people. Every query runs as the signed-in person, so results are always trimmed to what they can already open.
Where your data goes
Queries and documents stay inside your Microsoft 365 tenant and are never sent to us. To check your licence, the web part sends your tenant ID to our licensing service, hosted in Microsoft Azure UK South. No user content or personal data is included.
How it’s deployed
A standard SPFx package, uploaded by your admin to your own tenant app catalogue. It runs inside SharePoint like any Microsoft web part, and you can remove it at any time.

Questions about Unified Search
How is this different from the Search web part?
Search is a search bar that sends people to a results page. Unified Search is our premium product: one page covering files, mail, calendar, people, sites and policies across your whole tenant, with pinned answers, refiners, previews and sharing.
Is it included in the Starter or Complete Bundle?
No. Unified Search is a standalone product from £999 a year for organisations up to 500 people. The bundles cover our other web parts.
Can people see things they shouldn’t?
No. Every query runs as the signed-in person via Microsoft Graph delegated permissions, so results are always trimmed to what they can already open.
What does Search insights show?
How many searches people run, what they search for most, which searches found nothing, how often a result was opened, and what people said when results weren’t helpful. Pick a date range and export to CSV. The data is kept in a SharePoint list in your own tenant.
Who manages pinned answers?
Your content owners, directly in an ordinary SharePoint list. Each entry has keywords, a publish window and an on/off switch. We include a script that creates the list for you.
Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?
Yes. Email us with your organisation’s details and size, and we’ll send a quote and invoice.
How is it installed?
Your SharePoint admin uploads the package to the tenant app catalogue and approves the permissions once. It takes a few minutes. If you’d like us to do it, ask about our managed install before you buy.
