Read-only access, approved once by your admin in the SharePoint admin centre:
- User.Read.All (delegated) to read names, titles, departments, hire dates and photos from your directory
It runs as the signed-in person, so it only shows directory details they can already see.
Where your data goes
Directory data is read in the browser and never stored or sent to us.
To check your licence, the web part sends your tenant ID to our licensing service, hosted in Microsoft Azure UK South. No user content or personal data is included.

What’s included in the price?
A licence for your whole tenant, updates, fixes for SharePoint and Graph API changes, and email support during UK business hours. There is no setup fee.
Where does the data come from?
Your Microsoft 365 directory (Entra ID). Hire dates, job titles and departments need to be filled in there - if they are, People Spotlight needs no other upkeep.
Can we hide certain people?
Yes. Service accounts and anyone who prefers not to be featured can be excluded in the property pane.
Is it in a bundle?
Yes, People Spotlight is included in the Complete Bundle with all 18 web parts. It isn’t part of the Starter Bundle.
Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?
Yes. Email us with your organisation’s details and size and we’ll send a quote and invoice.
