The problem

App launchers go stale because someone has to maintain the tile list - and no two users need the same apps anyway.

The solution

The MyApps web part pulls each user’s personal application list straight from Microsoft Entra into SharePoint - personalised per user, with zero tile management.

What you get

A SharePoint MyApps web part built for real intranets

Auto-pulled tiles

Sourced live from Microsoft MyApps - no manual list.

Personalised per user

Everyone sees exactly the apps they have access to.

Single sign-on links

One click, straight into the app.

Zero maintenance

Licence changes reflect automatically.

MyApps or App Launcher - which one do you need?

They solve different problems. Our App Launcher shows a curated set of tiles you define - the same links for everyone, perfect for company-wide systems. The SharePoint MyApps web part is the self-maintaining alternative: it reads each person's assigned applications from Microsoft Entra, so a finance user sees finance apps and a field engineer sees theirs, with nothing for IT to update when licences change. Many customers run both - App Launcher for the core toolkit, MyApps for everything personal.

SharePoint MyApps web part FAQs

What’s included from £249 a year?

A tenant licence for MyApps, quarterly updates, compatibility patches for SharePoint and Graph API changes, and email support during business hours. No separate setup fee.

Is a bundle better value?

Usually, yes. The Complete Bundle (all 18 web parts) is from £2,499/yr for up to 500 users - £138.83 per app versus £249 standalone. If you need three or more web parts, the bundle costs less per app.

How is it installed?

Your own SharePoint admin uploads the package to the tenant app catalogue using our step-by-step guide - typically well under a day. Prefer us to do it? Ask about the managed install service before purchase.

What permissions does it need?

Web parts that read Microsoft 365 data use standard read-only Microsoft Graph permissions, requested once and approved by your admin. No data ever leaves your tenant.

Does it work in Teams and Viva Connections?

Yes. All our web parts are built on modern SPFx and work in Viva Connections home sites, communication sites, team sites and SharePoint pages embedded as Teams tabs.
