Questions About News Carousel Pro

Can we use News Carousel Pro alongside the default SharePoint news web part?

Yes. News Carousel Pro reads from the same SharePoint news infrastructure - it doesn't replace anything. You can run both on the same site. Think of it as a premium display layer on top of your existing news publishing workflow.

How many news items can it display?

Configurable through the property pane. Typical deployments show 5 to 10 items in the carousel, but there's no hard limit. For performance reasons we recommend keeping it under 20 per instance.

Does it work inside Microsoft Teams?

Yes. When a SharePoint page is embedded as a tab in Teams, News Carousel Pro renders correctly and adapts to the Teams viewport automatically.

Can non-technical editors add and configure it?

Yes. Once we've deployed the web part to your tenant, any page editor can add it to a page like any other SharePoint web part. All configuration - layout, source, styling - is done through the visual property pane with no code required.

What if we need a feature that isn't included?

We offer bespoke development as part of a retained support engagement if you need customisations beyond what's available in the property pane. Many feature requests also get folded into future updates for all bundle customers.
