The problem

FAQs end up as a long page of bold questions, a Word document or an out-of-date list. Nobody can search them, nobody knows which answers help, and the same questions keep landing in HR and IT inboxes.

The solution

The FAQs web part turns them into a proper help page. Questions are grouped by topic and searchable as you type, every answer has its own link, and a simple Yes or No tells you which answers need work.

Try it · every layout

One set of questions, eight ways to show them

Pick a layout, behaviour and style on the left, as you would in the web part’s property pane. Try searching for “password” or “pension”.

Sample questions. On your site, add your own questions, answers, topics and links.

What you get

Answers people can actually find

Eight layouts

Accordion, minimal, split, help centre, tiles, cards, search-first and spotlight. Pick the one that suits the page.

Search as you type

Matches are highlighted and the answers that contain them open automatically. Set your own search prompt.

Grouped by topic

Category tabs with counts, or a help centre sidebar, so people can browse Leave, Pay, IT and more.

Was this helpful?

A Yes or No on every answer shows you which ones work and which need rewriting.

WCAG 2.2 AA compliant

Full keyboard support, visible focus, screen reader announcements and contrast that meets WCAG 2.2 AA.

A link for every answer

Copy a link straight to one question, ready to paste into a Teams chat or a ticket reply.

Still have a question?

Your own heading, text and button, linked to an email address, a Teams channel, a form or a page.

Styled to fit your site

Card, line or filled items, numbered questions and your accent colour or the site theme.

Easy for editors

Manage FAQs takes editors straight to the questions, with related links and last-updated dates.

Security and permissions

Everything your admin needs to approve the install.

No extra permissions needed

FAQs reads its questions from a SharePoint list on your site, using each signed-in person’s own SharePoint permissions. It needs no extra Microsoft Graph access, so people only ever see what they can already access.

Where your data goes

FAQs content stays inside your Microsoft 365 tenant and is never sent to us. To check your licence, the web part sends your tenant ID to our licensing service, hosted in Microsoft Azure UK South. No user content or personal data is included.

How it’s deployed

A standard SPFx package, uploaded by your admin to your own tenant app catalogue. It runs inside SharePoint like any Microsoft web part, and you can remove it at any time.

Questions about FAQs

Where are the questions stored?

In a SharePoint list on your site, so editors add and change questions without touching the page. Manage FAQs opens the list for anyone with edit rights.

How is this different from Accordion?

Accordion is for breaking up a long page into sections. FAQs is built for questions and answers, with topics, search, feedback and a link to every answer.

Where do I see the feedback?

Yes and No votes are saved against each question, so you can sort by the answers people find least helpful.

Is it accessible?

Yes. FAQs is WCAG 2.2 AA compliant. Every question, tab and button can be reached and used with the keyboard, focus is always visible, and open and closed states are announced to screen readers.

Can I show different FAQs on different sites?

Yes. Each instance of the web part has its own questions, topics and layout, so HR, IT and Finance can each run their own.

Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?

Yes. Email us with your organisation’s details and size, and we’ll send a quote and invoice.
