What we build

Beyond out-of-the-box PowerApps

Most PowerApps look like PowerApps. Ours look and feel like proper software, because we design the interface first and extend the platform where it falls short.

01Designed before it’s built

Clean, intuitive interfaces

Screens designed around the task, not the database. Consistent layouts, your branding, and forms that guide people through, so there’s little to train.

  • Screen designs agreed before build
  • Your colours, fonts and components
  • Validation that explains what’s wrong
  • Responsive on desktop, tablet and phone
  • Accessible contrast and keyboard use
  • Reusable component library
02

Custom PCF components

When the standard controls can’t do it, we build our own with the PowerApps Component Framework.

  • Rating scales, timelines and pickers
  • Rich data grids and charts
  • Reusable across all your apps
03

Custom connectors

Connect your apps to systems Microsoft doesn’t support out of the box.

  • Wraps any REST API
  • Secure sign-in with OAuth or API keys
  • Shared with Power Automate too
04

Live API lookups

Pull data back into the form as people type, instead of asking them to rekey it.

  • Company, address and VAT lookups
  • Customer and order data from your CRM
  • Fewer errors and faster forms
05

Reporting dashboards

See what’s happening at a glance, inside the app or in Power BI.

  • KPIs, trends and status breakdowns
  • Drill down from total to record
  • Scheduled exports for managers
06

Secure and built to last

Apps that pass IT review and keep working as you grow.

  • Role-based access and audit trail
  • SharePoint or Dataverse, whichever fits
  • Solutions, environments and documented handover

What we’ve built

Two apps we build often, shown with example data.

01
Contract management hub

Every contract, renewal and review in one place

Replaces a shared spreadsheet of contract dates with a hub that tracks suppliers, spend and renewals, and warns you before notice windows close.

  • Renewal and review alerts
  • Signed copies stored in SharePoint
  • Dashboards for spend and status
  • E-signature built into the workflow
Example data shown
02
CAPEX approvals

Capital spend requests, approved in days not weeks

A structured request form with the business case, cost centre and payback, routed to the right approvers by value, with every decision recorded.

  • Approval routing by value and department
  • Budget checked against your finance system
  • Full audit trail and comments
  • Spend dashboard for the finance team

How we work

From first call to go-live

  1. 1

    Process scoping

We map the spreadsheet or process the app will replace, and who uses it.

  2. 2

    Design and fixed price

Screen designs and data model agreed, with a fixed price, before we build.

  3. 3

    Build and iterate

Working versions early and often, so you test with real data as it takes shape.

  4. 4

    Launch and handover

Rollout, training and documentation, with a retainer if you want it to keep evolving.

Pricing

Fixed price. No surprises.

Every proposal has a clear scope, price and timeline before work starts. Or keep a senior consultant on call with a retainer.

Questions

PowerApps FAQs

Do we need extra PowerApps licences?

Apps built on SharePoint data run under most Microsoft 365 plans. Custom connectors, Dataverse and some integrations need premium licences. We flag this in the quote and usually offer a standard-licence alternative.

What is a PCF component?

A custom control built with Microsoft’s PowerApps Component Framework, for example a rating scale, timeline or rich data grid. It behaves like a built-in control and can be reused across your apps.

Can the app pull data from our other systems?

Yes. With standard or custom connectors, the app can look up records from your CRM, finance system or public APIs like Companies House and fill the form for the user.

What kind of apps do you build?

Contract management, capital expenditure approvals, asset tracking, onboarding, inspections, risk registers and bookings: anywhere a spreadsheet is doing a job it shouldn’t.

How long does an app take?

Simple apps take 1 to 2 weeks. Multi-screen business apps take 3 to 6 weeks, with working versions to test along the way.

Does it work on phones and offline?

Yes. PowerApps runs on iOS and Android, and we can design offline patterns for field work with poor signal.

Which spreadsheet would you replace first?

A free 30-minute call. Show us the spreadsheet or process, and we’ll sketch the app that replaces it.
